YOU'VE FOUND MY WHY: THE REASON I PICKED UP A CAMERA.

My love of photography began in high school with a class using film camera (I know--a looooong time ago, right?) learning the art of taking snapshots then developing images in a dark room. I was always inspired watching images literally appear on the paper from darkness. The art of it leaving me speechless.

My love an curiosity for photography grew immensely when we had our first baby--because of my great desire to capture our story as new parents, his moments experiencing everything for the first time. Every moment. The big ones AND the little ones in between.

My passion grew like wildfire and I devoted myself to capturing art and magic of every day. I took my camera with me everywhere for an entire year. Taking at least one picture every day. Reading. Learning. Documenting. Creating.

I found that my passion lies in the extraordinary captures of life's STORIES.

My stories. My kids' stories. My family's stories.

I treasure these moments. Like the ones where the littles are waiting excitedly for the bigs to get off the school bus.

I post my photos on social media. I print them for my home. They are everywhere. Because they remind me to live in the moment. To be present. To savor every big AND little moment.
